3 Tips to Lose 30 Pounds in 30 Days
If your weight loss plan is to lose 30 pounds in 30 days, then you need to take your eight tips and stick to them all for a month.
1. Establish intermittent fasting
The first thing I would recommend is to start intermittent fasting.
This is where you set a specific time frame where you only drink water and don't take in any calories.
More specifically, what I recommend you do is implement the 16/8 fasting rule. Here you eat your last calories at 6pm and then don't eat breakfast until 10am the next day.
I have found that this approach makes it much easier to eat fewer calories and it is possible to achieve a calorie deficit of 40% or more. But you have to be careful not to end up binge eating during those eight hours.
2. Don't eat any sugar
One of the biggest contributors to weight gain is sugar consumption. And you won't only find it in processed foods, sodas and candy bars.
While a glass of fruit juice can give you a big dose of vitamins, you'll be taking in a lot of fructose, which can cause a significant spike in blood sugar. And thanks to them, it will be very difficult to lose weight at the rate of half a kilo per day.
3. Eat more protein
One of my top weight loss tips is to significantly increase your protein intake. Studies have shown that high-protein diets have a significantly positive effect on weight loss.
You can increase your protein intake by changing your eating habits towards lean meat. And I strongly recommend that you have at least one protein shake a day.
